A Bit About Us
Based in Southland, New Zealand, Jodie and Shea are raising their young family alongside Jodie’s first baby, the web design business originally established as WebDesignIT.
Founded in 2007, the business first expanded across Australia, including the Gold Coast and Perth, before naturally extending its client base throughout New Zealand. Today, WDIT continues to work with clients both locally and internationally.
Modern technology has made it easier than ever to collaborate remotely. With tools like Google Meet and Zoom, most projects are managed seamlessly online, with in-person meetings only arranged when practical — and always welcomed over a good cuppa.
Jodie is now supported by a small team working behind the scenes, allowing her to balance family life while continuing to lead the business. She remains the face and heart of WDIT, guiding each project with experience, care, and a personal approach.

JODIE ROSS
Bachelor of Digital Media (BDM)
I believe in doing things right the first time.
Growing up on a large farm in New Zealand gave me a strong work ethic and kept me grounded. I still love being outdoors whenever I can — usually with my feet in the sand at the beach or in the ocean.
After completing a three-year Bachelor of Digital Media, I spent over a decade in Australia working in the web design industry. During this time, I developed my skills across multiple agencies and environments, learning different approaches, systems, and strategies that have shaped the way I work today.
I’ve been fortunate to work with two well-established web design companies in Australia, both with a strong focus on growth, training, and continuously improving client services. This experience allowed me to contribute to hundreds of website projects for businesses around the world, building both technical expertise and a deep understanding of what makes a website successful.
I’m naturally curious and committed to continuous learning — if I don’t know something, I’ll always find the answer.
Over time, I’ve developed a strong ability to listen, interpret ideas, and translate a client’s vision into a functional, effective, and visually engaging website. I see this as both a skill and a strength that helps bring ideas to life in a meaningful way.
